I was introduced to the concept of baby signing three years ago when I had my first child. I was excited by the prospect of us learning how to sign together. We started when he was eight months old and neither of us have ever looked back! I still remember the excitement that I felt when he did his first ever sign: open! Here was our son, only eleven months old and able to communicate with us.

Three years later we also have a daughter, who is fourteen months old. We have been signing with her since she was born and her understanding and ability to sign has jumped greatly in the last six months. I was thrilled to avert some of her tantrums and felt sure that other parents would appreciate the bonuses of signing. But when I looked there was very little in the way of signing groups or classes in the Meon Valley.

Enter the Baby Signs^® Program! The more that I researched into baby signing the more I came to believe that the Baby Signs^® program was the definitive course. No other baby signing group has the history or the scientific research to back it up and stand behind it. I am now a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor which works well with my training as a Montessori nursery teacher. I am CRB checked and have worked with pre-school children for over seven years.
